Delrin Bodies Now Available!
FEATURES: Self-contained ball-and-spring device available in many sizes and forces. Available in steel, stainless steel, or Delrin®, all with a stainless steel ball. Locking element holds the unit securely in place after installation (steel and stainless only). Install and/or adjust from either end (when using the slot at the ball end, install with a Plunger Wrench to avoid over-compressing the spring). Note: the three smallest sizes, and all Delrin sizes, have no slot at the ball end.
SIZES (STEEL): Available in thread sizes from #4-48 to 5/8-11 (M4 to M16 in metric) — see Dimensions page for part numbers, and Size Comparison page for a group photo of all sizes. Choice of light, medium, or heavy force in most thread sizes.

SIZES (DELRIN): Available in thread sizes from 1/4-20 to 3/8-16. Choice of light, medium, or heavy force.
MATERIAL (STEEL — USA): Body > 12L14 steel, zinc plated clear chromate, zinc plated yellow chromate, or black oxide finish, depending on the spring force. (300-series stainless on the smallest five sizes). Ball > 440C stainless. Spring > Music wire (302 stainless on the smallest five sizes). Locking element > Nylon 101 (locking patch on small sizes).
MATERIAL (STEEL — METRIC): Body > 12L14 steel, zinc plated clear chromate. Ball > 440C stainless. Spring > Music wire. Locking element > Nylon 101 (locking patch on small sizes).
MATERIAL (STAINLESS): Body > 300-series stainless. Ball > 440C stainless. Spring > 302 stainless. Locking element > Nylon 101 (locking patch on small sizes).
MATERIAL (DELRIN): Body > Delrin® 500, white, black, or yellow, depending on the spring force (180ºF maximum operating temperature). Ball > 440c stainless. Spring > 302 stainless.
