FEATURES: Large edge clamp that is well suited for large castings and other tall workpieces. Pivoting nose has a serrated jaw that clamps forward and downward simultaneously. Can be used to clamp against a fixed locator, or against a matching Downthrust Backstop. Replacement jaw inserts are available.
SIZES: Available for Standard (1/2") and Heavy (5/8") modular systems — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
MOUNTING: Fasten with Socket-Head Cap Screws (four for Standard size, two for Heavy size, order separately).
MATERIAL: Body > Gray cast iron, ASTM class 40, black oxide finish. Jaw > 1045 steel, heat treated Rc 40-45, black oxide finish. Clamping screw > High-carbon steel, heat treated, black oxide finish.
