CLAMPING VALVES (4 WAY)

Hand Operated

7500 psi max
Single & Double Acting

FEATURES: Use individual clamping valves to clamp several workpieces independently with a single power source. 4-Way Clamping Valves can be used to control either double-acting or single-acting clamps. These high-quality valves have a zero-leakage poppet design, with a built-in check valve. Available either with a mounting base (for installation with standard 1/4" BSPP fittings and exposed fluid lines) or without a base (for manifold mounting using the O-ring ports underneath the valve).

OPERATION: The hand-operated valve shown here is controlled by a hand knob that can be turned 360° in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, with a detent position every 90°. To clamp or unclamp, turn knob 90° in either direction.

MOUNTING WITH STANDARD FITTINGS: To use standard fittings, order clamping valve with mounting base (base has three 1/4" BSPP ports, in addition to one 1/4" BSPP port on the valve). Fasten valve to fixture using the four tapped mounting holes underneath the base. Mount in any position, horizontal or vertical.

MANIFOLD MOUNTING: For manifold mounting, order clamping valve without mounting base (use the three O-ring ports underneath the valve). Mounting holes and manifold passages must be drilled exactly as shown in the drawings. Fasten valve to fixture using the four mounting screws furnished.

FLUID CONNECTION: Clamping valve has four ports:
P = Pressure into valve from power source
T = Return from valve to power source
A = Flow from valve to clamps, clamping
B = Flow from valve to clamps, unclamping
Port connections and flow directions must be exactly as shown on the drawings; otherwise the valve will not function correctly. Use only with clean, approved hydraulic fluid (CLR-2-FL or equivalent). Fluid must be kept clean (10 micron or better nominal filtration). Do not use NPT fittings.
