FEATURES: Simple, economical spring-loaded plunger ideal for installation in softer materials, such as aluminum, wood, or plastic. Use when a threaded hole would be impractical or when adjustment is not required. Sturdy shoulder provides a fixed seating position and positively resists detent force. Installation hole can be counterbored to recess the shoulder. Available in steel, with a hardened plunger nose, or stainless steel.
SIZES: Available in six body sizes from 1/8" diameter to 1/2" diameter — see Dimensions page for part numbers. Choice of light or heavy force in each size.
MATERIAL (STEEL): Body > 12L14 steel, black oxide finish. Plunger nose > 12L14 steel, carburized-hardened, black oxide finish (heavy force) or zinc plated clear chromate (light force). Spring > Music wire.
MATERIAL (STAINLESS): Body and plunger nose > 300-series stainless steel. Spring > 302 stainless. |
