FEATURES: Simple, economical spring-loaded plunger ideal for installation in softer materials, such as aluminum, wood, or plastic. Use when a threaded hole would be impractical or when adjustment is not required. Sturdy shoulder provides a fixed seating position and positively resists detent force. Installation hole can be counterbored to recess the shoulder. Available in steel or stainless steel, both with a Delrin plunger nose to prevent marring.
SIZES: Available in six body sizes from 1/8" diameter to 1/2" diameter — see Dimensions page for part numbers. Choice of light or heavy force in each size.
MATERIAL (STEEL): Body > 12L14 steel, black oxide finish. Plunger nose > Brown Delrin® 500 (heavy force) or white Delrin® 500 (light force). Spring > Music wire.
MATERIAL (STAINLESS): Body > 300-series stainless steel. Plunger nose > Brown Delrin® 500 (heavy force) or white Delrin® 500 (light force). Spring > 302 stainless. |
