FEATURES: This standard nut-and-sleeve assembly is used at the end of every piece of flared tubing to mate with a standard male JIC 37° end. Must be placed on the tube before flaring is completed.
37°-FLARE FITTINGS: JIC-standard 37° fittings accept our standard 5/16" O.D. tubing (cut off straight, de-burred, and flared) as well as Fixture Hose and Heavy-Duty Hose with 37°-flare swivel nuts. When using tubing, a Tube End fitting (CLR-400-F), consisting of a nut and sleeve, must be placed on each tube end before flaring is completed.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Use these fittings only with our standard tubing and hose. Our standard tubing is 5/16" O.D. seamless heavy-wall tubing, C1010 steel, cold drawn, fully annealed, .065" wall thickness, 22,800 psi minimum burst pressure.
