FEATURES: These high-pressure in-line filters are useful to ensure that any hydraulic fluid coming from a power source's reservoir is totally clean before entering a power-workholding system. These units filter all particles nominally larger than 10 microns. Simple, compact design that is easy to install in any new or existing system.
MOUNTING: In-line mounting with a 1/4" BSPP port on the inlet side (toward the power source) and a 1/4" BSPP male thread on the outlet side (toward the workholding fixture). Can be conveniently mounted directly on the power unit using a Double Port Fitting (CLR-809-F). Mount filter in any position, horizontal or vertical. Do not use NPT fittings.
MAINTENANCE: Each Fluid Filter has two replaceable filter elements: a 10-micron pleated filter (CLR-100-FIL) and a 100-micron pre-filter CLR-3887-009-FIL). Service interval will vary with environmental conditions. Caution: do not attempt to replace filter elements with pressure in the system.
