Single and Double Acting
FEATURES: Manifold-mounted version of our popular Block Cylinders. Compact design with many applications. Easy to mount on flat surfaces, horizontally or vertically. Excellent for punching, pressing, and assembly operations, with very high forces available. Double-acting version can also be used for pulling, by reversing the A and B ports.

CLAMPING ACTION: Applying fluid pressure to the A port advances the plunger. Spring return (single acting) or fluid return (double acting).
MANIFOLD MOUNTING STYLES: Choice of four different locations for O-ring ports and mounting holes:
Style B Ports at bottom end
Style S Ports at plunger end
Style K Ports on broad side (short stroke)
Style L Ports on broad side (long stroke)
MOUNTING (STYLE B): Insert four socket-head cap screws from the plunger end, through the four counterbored holes parallel to the plunger.
MOUNTING (STYLE S): Insert four socket-head cap screws from the bottom end, through the four counterbored holes parallel to the plunger.
MOUNTING (STYLE K): Insert two socket-head cap screws through the two broad-side holes perpendicular to the plunger. Block Cylinder must be backed up for pressures over 2300 psi by a rectangular strip or dowel pins with a height at least 1/3 of the B dimension.
MOUNTING (STYLE L): Insert four socket-head cap screws through the four broad-side holes perpendicular to the plunger. Block Cylinder must be backed up for pressures over 2300 psi by a rectangular strip or dowel pins with a height at least 1/3 of the B dimension.
FLUID CONNECTION: Fluid is supplied to the O-ring ports through drilled passages in the fixture. Do not use NPT fittings.
OPTIONAL VITON SEALS: For high-temperature applications (212° to 300° F), we offer Viton seals in all sizes. Please contact factory for more information.
CONSTRUCTION: Plunger > Steel, case hardened. Body > Steel, black oxide finish. |
