CLAMPING ACTION: Applying fluid pressure advances the plunger. Spring return.
MOUNTING: Install clamp directly into a flat-bottom tapped hole in the fixture – see drawings for hole-preparation instructions. After installation, secure clamp against rotation with a threaded pin or roll pin. Threaded-cartridge clamps have O-ring seals on their outside diameter, so they require a precision mounting hole.
FLUID CONNECTION: Fluid passage must be drilled as shown in the drawings. Do not use NPT fittings.
CONSTRUCTION: Plunger > Steel, case hardened. Body > Steel, black oxide finish. |
