External thread allows fine adjustment after installation. Compact design with many applications. Excellent for punching, pressing, and assembly operations, with high forces available. MOUNTING: In all cases, secure clamp with the lock ring provided to prevent rotation. Several possible mounting methods: 1) install clamp through a tapped hole in the fixture; 2) install clamp into a Mounting Block; 3) install clamp through a bored hole and into a Mounting Flange, then fasten the Mounting Flange to the fixture with four socket-head cap screws. Order Mounting Flanges and Mounting Blocks separately. FLUID CONNECTION: 1/4" BSPP port. Do not use NPT fittings. CONSTRUCTION: Plunger > Steel, case hardened. Body > Steel, black oxide finish.
