Vises can be mounted on any Carr Lane modular tooling plate (2" grid pattern) for repeatable location in both X and Y axes. The three vises shown here have the optional interlocking base, designed for closer mounting.

CARATTERISTICHE: Hilma-Bock vises feature quick-change aluminum jaws that snap on and off in seconds without any tools. These twin vises clamp two workpieces simultaneously against a fixed center jaw. Jaws can be completely milled out to suit the workpiece's contour (both sides can be used). Locating pins provide exact positioning of the center jaw. Leadscrew assembly provides a downthrust effect and is fully sealed to keep out dirt and chips. Vises can be mounted directly on a T-slotted machine table, or on a Carr Lane modular gridplate for repeatable location in both x and y axes. Optionally available with an interlocking base for closer vise mounting (must be mounted on a modular gridplate).
MISURE: Available in two sizes, 4" and 6" jaw width — see Dimensions page for part numbers:
OPERAZIONE (IDRAULICO): Adjust jaw opening to the workpiece using a crank handle. When fluid pressure is applied by actuating the external power unit, the sliding jaw moves through its power stroke (.250" maximum total stroke for safety — .125" per jaw) to apply full clamping force. Unclamping is by positive spring return.
MONTAGGIO DIRETTAMENTE SU TAVOLA DI MACCHINA: Vises are slotted in both directions for 20mm fixture keys, to provide accurate mounting on T-slotted machine tables. Use two Step Fixture Keys to adapt to a specific table-slot size. Fasten with four socket-head cap screws using the mounting slots provided. This allows very close mounting of vises without external clamps.
MONTAGGIO SU PIASTRA DI STAFFAGGIO MODULARE: Vises have two 5/8"-diameter locating holes for repeatable mounting on any Carr Lane modular tooling plate (2" grid pattern) using Fixture Locating Pins. Fasten with four socket-head cap screws using the mounting slots provided.
CONVERSIONE IN MORSA DI SOLO PARTE: An optional Stop Plate allows converting one of the sliding jaws to a fixed jaw so that a single, large workpiece can be clamped when the center jaw is removed.
COSTRUZIONE: High-strength aluminum body with hardened and ground steel guideways. Two large outlets on each side for chips and coolant. |
