Double Acting
FEATURES: Self-Locking Block Cylinders are particularly suited for clamping on fixtures which are disconnected from their power source (machine-tool pallets, pallet storage systems, indexing machines, transfer lines). A patented self-locking mechanism maintains full clamping force if hydraulic pressure is disconnected or drops.

The piston rod is positively locked by a tangentially acting self-locking piston. These Block Cylinders can be controlled with a simple double-acting clamping circuit by adding a Sequence Valve in the clamping circuit A, to control the locking function. |
