FEATURES: These step jaws are designed specifically for our Hilma SCS-series Super-Compact Vises, providing excellent spindle access even when using short tools. Extra-tall step jaws allow clamping a workpiece up high for additional machining clearance. These jaws can be reversed to accommodate either small or large workpieces. Step jaws allow clamping rectangular workpieces up high in the vise without using parallel blocks, providing tool clearance between the workpiece and the vise bed. Each step is precision ground to maintain accurate vertical and horizontal location.
SIZES: Available in two jaw widths (80 and 120mm), each with a choice of three clamping widths (wide, medium, or narrow) — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
MOUNTING: Fasten to the vise with four Socket-Head Cap Screws (three on jaws with narrow clamping width).
MATERIAL: Steel, hardened and ground. |
