CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Similar to a standard L Pin, except that the pin body is positively retained in a locking bush. In fully retracted position, the bush's spring clip snaps into the pin's groove. This holds the pin fully retracted by spring force and positively prevents removal. Spring pressure also holds the pin in intermediate extended positions, an advantage especially if the fixture is turned upside down.
TAILLES: Available in pin diameters from 3/16 to 1/2" (6 to 12mm in metric) — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
INSTALLATION: Locking-Pin Bushes are designed for a press fit in a standard reamed hole. Secure with an LS-1 Lockscrew to positively hold the bush in place.
OPTIONS: Shorter and/or longer bushes are available in most sizes, for thinner or thicker plates (see Locking-PinBushes).
MATÉRIAU: Pin > 12L14 steel, carburised-hardened, black oxide finish. Handle > 12L14 steel, black oxide finish. Locking bush > 8620 steel, carburised-hardened, black oxide finish. Retainer clip > Spring steel. |
