FEATURES: The Ball Lock Mounting System requires that each Ball Lock Clamp be used together with one of these ReceiverBushes. The clamp's locking balls engauge the angled ID section of the Receiver Bush, pulling the clamp firmly downward.
SIZES: Available for all Ball Lock Clamp shank diameters — see Dimensions page for part numbers:| | 13mm | | | 16mm | | | 20mm | | | 25mm | | | 30mm | | | 35mm | | | 50mm |
INSTALLATION: Face-Mount ReceiverBushes can be bolted into a slip-fit bored hole from above, with three socket-head cap screws (furnished). Back-Mount ReceiverBushes are more compact, but take more effort to install. Back-mount bushes are installed in the subplate from below, with a slight press fit (measure actual bush before boring hole to provide .013mm maximum press fit, to avoid ID distortion). With either bush type, the installation holes must be jig bored for accurate size and location. Installed bushes will be approximately .3mm below the subplate's top surface.
MATERIAL: 4340 steel, heat treated Rc 50-54, black oxide finish. |
