CARATTERISTICHE: The Lift-N-C Jig gets its name for the way the top plate lifts up and opens wide for easy loading (Lift 'n' See). Simply install drill bushes in the top plate and locators in the base to make a finished drill jig. The handle operates a sturdy, durable rack-and-pinion mechanism that lifts the top plate and tilts it back. Handle mounts on either side.
OPERAZIONE: Pulling the handle forward pivots the top plate forward, parallel to the base. At this point, precision bushes and pins align the plate with the base for excellent repeatability. Continued pulling of the handle completely forward lowers the top plate into firm contact with the work piece, locking the top plate in position. Important note: the top plate does not exert downward force unless continuous pressure is applied manually to the handle, or with a spring plunger as shown below.

PARTI DI RICAMBO: Additional top plates are available to allow building several jigs on the same base. A replacement rack-and-pinion mechanism is available for jigs in extended service.
