CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Subplate tooling blocks are important components of our new quick-change tooling system. These two-sided tooling blocks mount on a Quick-Change Pallet Subplate. The two faces accept Quick-Change Pallet Tooling Plates, either modular or blank. Fixtures can be assembled off of the machine tool, then quickly mounted with excellent locating repeatability.
PRINCIPES DE POSITIONNEMENT: Subplate tooling blocks have two tapered pins on each face for accurately mounting tooling plates, and also have two receiver bushes of their own underneath to provide accurate location on a subplate, similar to the way that a machine pallet itself is located in a horizontal machining centre. Pin and receiver locations are held to +/-.0016". Patent number 5,788,225.
