CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Pointed Soft Jaws are ideal for small-diameter parts, as well as large-diameter parts, because the point allows closing nearer to the centre of the chuck. Standard point is a 120° included angle (some sizes have a slight flat at the tip). Standard steel jaws can be case hardened after machining, or left soft. Optional aluminium material reduces surface marring, ideal for chucking on finished surfaces.
TAILLES: Available for chuck sizes from 6" to 24" diameter, in standard height and extra high — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
CONSIDÉRATIONS DE CONCEPTION ET PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ: The "critical dimensions" shown in the dimension tables must match your master jaw, although outside dimensions can be different. Please check before ordering. When using extra-high top jaws, maximum allowable spindle RPM will be reduced somewhat. Please consult your chuck's operating manual.
MATÉRIAU (ACIER): 1018 steel.
MATÉRIAU (ALUMINIUM): 6061-T6 aluminium, with steel cross key on some sizes. |
