CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Metric version of our popular SF bush. These replaceable SFM bushes are generally used with a liner bush and lockscrew. Use when you expect to replace bushes during the tooling's lifetime, or to switch bushes to perform multi-step operations with the same tooling. SFM bushes combine the benefits of older S-type slip-renewable and F-type fixed renewable bushes: one side has a lockscrew recess for fixed mounting; the other has a locking recess that allows the bush to slip down, then rotate to lock in place.

CONTRE-ALÉSAGE Á TAILLES PETITES DE FORET: Metric bushes with small drill sizes through .80mm are counter-bored 1.00mm diameter with 3mm drill-bearing length, according to ANSI standards, to eliminate binding and heat buildup.
MATÉRIAU: 1144 Stress-proof steel, heat treated to achieve Rc 62-64 ID hardness. Other materials readily available by special order (see Specials). |
