CARACTÉRISTIQUES: Self-contained ball-and-spring device available in many sizes and forces. Available in stainless steel or Delrin®, both with a Delrin® ball. Locking element (steel and stainless only) holds the unit securely in place after installation. Install and/or adjust from either end (when using the slot at the ball end, install with a Plunger Wrench to avoid over-compressing the spring). Note: the three smallest sizes, and all Delrin sizes, have no slot at the ball end.
TAILLES (ACIER INOXIDABLE): Available in thread sizes from #4-48 to 5/8"-11 (M3 to M16 in metric) — see Dimensions page for part numbers, and Size Comparison page for a group photo of all sizes. Choice of light, medium, or heavy force in most thread sizes.
TAILLES (DELRIN): Available in thread sizes from 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16. Choice of light, medium, or heavy force.
MATÉRIAU (ACIER INOXYDABLE): Body > 300-series stainless. Ball > White Delrin® 500. Spring > 302 stainless. Locking element > Nylon 101 (locking patch on small sizes).
MATÉRIAU (DELRIN): Body > Delrin® 500, white, black, or yellow, depending on the spring force (180ºF maximum operating temperature). Ball > White Delrin® 500. Spring > 302 stainless.
