BESONDERHEITEN: Step Plug Gauges have two gauging diameters to allow checking GO and NO-GO tolerances simultaneously, or for checking stepped IDs. Durable, precision gauge pins for production gauging. Step Plug Gauges are hardened and cold stabilised. They are precision lapped to a 10-microinch surface finish, with ends ground square. All gauges are 2" long.
GRÖßEN: Pin diameter "A" is standard in any size from .061 to 1.000", in .001" increments. Step diameter "B" is quickly ground to order in any .0001" increment, subject to the "Maximum Diameter Difference" listed in the table. B diameter cannot be less than .058". TOLERANZEN: Standard tolerances for these production gauges are +.0002/-.0000 (Plus) and +.0000/-.0002 (Minus), known as "Class ZZ". In most applications, GO gauges should have a Plus tolerance and NO-GO gauges should have a Minus tolerance. This keeps the gauge's tolerance within the work piece's tolerance at all times, and allows for wear of the GO gauge.
SONDERBESTELLUNG: Step Plug Gauges are also available with the A diameter in .0001" increments, as specials. Standard step length (C dimension) is shown in the tables, with special step lengths available.
