FEATURES: Ideal tooling plate for most milling machines. Finish ground to tight tolerances, with all multipurpose holes spaced within .0008" of true position. These Rectangular Tooling Plates can be accurately connected to create many length and width combinations. Plates can be mounted either lengthwise or widthwise. The length of each plate is equal to the width of the next-larger size, allowing many possible combinations by turning plates 90°.

SIZES: Available for Standard (1/2") and Heavy (5/8") modular systems, in a full range of standard fixture sizes — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
 12" x 16" (Standard)
 16" x 20" (Standard, Heavy)
 20" x 24" (Standard, Heavy)
 24" x 32" (Standard, Heavy)

MOUNTING: Two Locating Keys are required to locate a Rectangular Tooling Plate on a T-slotted table (order separately to fit specific machine). Each plate has two sets of locating holes, for lengthwise or widthwise mounting. Mounting holes fit almost any USA or metric slot spacing. Fasten using socket-head cap screws and T Nuts (order separately, 4 or 6 required).

MATERIAL: Body > Grey cast iron, ASTM class 40.Bushes > High-carbon steel, heat treated. Threaded inserts > Steel. Protection Plugs > Plastic.

For large machine tables, connect two or more plates to form a single baseplate, using Locating Gauges as shown above to maintain accuracy. Gauges are removed once plates are fastened to the machine table.

Two sets of Locating-Key holes allow mounting plates either lengthwise or widthwise on a machine table.

The length of each Rectangular Tooling Plates is the same as the width of the next-larger size, allowing many possible combinations by turning plates 90°.
