HJ, HO, HOS, HOH, HOB, B, BT, B200, BT200, and B215 Series
FEATURES: Pointed Soft Jaws are ideal for small-diameter parts, as well as large-diameter parts, because the point allows closing nearer to the centre of the chuck. Standard point is a 120° included angle (some sizes have a slight flat at the tip). Standard steel jaws can be case hardened after machining, or left soft. Optional aluminium material reduces surface marring, ideal for chucking on finished surfaces. 1.5mm x 60° serrations (3mm x 60° serrations on jaws for 21" and 24" chucks).
SIZES: Available for chuck sizes from 4" to 24" diameter, in standard height and extra high. Note: in most cases, two-jaw power chucks use the next-larger-diameter top jaws — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: The "critical dimensions" shown in the dimension tables must match your master jaw, although outside dimensions can be different. Please check before ordering. When using extra-high top jaws, maximum allowable spindle RPM will be reduced somewhat. Please consult your chuck's operating manual.
MATERIAL (STEEL): 1018 steel.
