Pie Jaw® Pie-Shaped Soft Jaws		Square Key FEATURES: Full-grip jaws for increased surface contact on large diameter or thinwall parts, to prevent distortion and marring. Also ideal for fixturing non-cylindrical parts. Cast aluminium material is standard, with steel or cast iron available as an option. Steel jaws can be case hardened after machining, or left soft. Each top jaw requires a square-serrated key (order separately). SIZES: Available for chuck sizes from 8" to 24" diameter, in standard height and extra high, and also in oversize diameters — see Dimensions page for part numbers. Note: in most cases, two-jaw power chucks use the next-larger-diameter top jaws. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: The "critical dimensions" shown in the dimension tables must match your master jaw, although outside dimensions can be different. Please check before ordering. When using extra-high or oversize-diameter top jaws, maximum allowable spindle RPM will be reduced somewhat. Please consult your chuck's operating manual. MATERIAL (ALUMINIUM): 319 aluminium alloy. MATERIAL (CAST IRON): Class 30 grey cast iron. MATERIAL (STEEL): Mild steel.
