CARACTÉRISTIQUES: These jaws have precision locating holes to fit on round locating pins, for mounting on Northfield and MicroCentric chucks. Pointed Soft Jaws are ideal for small-diameter parts, as well as large-diameter parts, because the point allows closing nearer to the centre of the chuck. Standard point is a 120º included angle (some sizes have a slight flat at the tip). Aluminium material is standard, with steel available as an option. Steel jaws can be case hardened after machining, or left soft.
TAILLES: Available for chuck sizes from 4" to 18" diameter, in standard height and extra high — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
CONSIDÉRATIONS DE CONCEPTION ET PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ: The "critical dimensions" shown in the dimension tables must match your master jaw, although outside dimensions can be different. Please check before ordering. When using extra-high top jaws, maximum allowable spindle RPM will be reduced somewhat. Please consult your chuck's operating manual.
