BESONDERHEITEN: This Block Cylinder incorporates our exclusive "Locking Support Plunger", to provide clamping and supporting in one element. Block Cylinders provide a compact design that is easy to mount on flat surfaces.
ANWENDUNGEN: Clamps with locking support plungers exert relatively little clamping force, but provide a high support force in the opposite direction. They are particularly suitable for clamping thin-walled work pieces with minimum deformation, as well as for floating clamping.

SPANNBEWEGUNG: Applying fluid pressure advances the plunger, which simultaneously expands like a work support to lock inside the cylinder body. Spring return retracts the plunger for loading/unloading.
GENAUIGKEIT: As a work support, this clamp has an elastic deformation of only .000036" per 100 lbs machining force.
MONTAGE: Fasten clamp with four socket-head cap screws. For manifold mounting, the mounting surface must be ground flat to ensure proper O-ring sealing. To provide maximum support force, the clamp must be secured to the fixture using the key slot.
HYDRAULIK-ANSCHLUSS: 1/4" BSPP port. For optional manifold mounting, use the manifold port underneath the clamp by unscrewing the sealing plug and installing an CLR-3000-347 O-ring (also install a CLR-810-F Port Plug in the 1/4" BSPP port). Do not use NPT fittings.
KONSTRUKTION: Plunger > Steel, case hardened. Body > Alloy steel, black oxide finish. |
