Aluminium Alloy
FEATURES: This four-sided tooling block is ideal for rotary indexers and rotary machine tables. These economical custom blank tooling blocks are stocked as un-machined blank castings, then quickly machined to your specifications. Available in three configurations: (1) Machined base with mounting holes, and machined faces (2) Machined base with mounting holes, and un-machined faces (3) Un-machined blank casting. One-piece cast aluminium alloy construction provides superior accuracy, dimensional stability, and vibration dampening.
SIZES: Available in a wide range of block sizes and heights (inch and metric) for rotary tables from 6" to 15" diameter (150mm to 375mm) — see Dimensions page for part numbers.
OPTIONAL MACHINED BASE WITH MOUNTING HOLES: Available with any mounting pattern. Please specify at time of order.
OPTIONAL MACHINED FACES: Available with all four tooling faces machined flat, square, and parallel to within .025mm per 300mm. Please note: each face is machined .4mm over nominal size to allow making a finish cut after mounting on your machine. If ordered with un-machined faces, faces, the casting will have sufficient additional stock to allow finish machining to nominal size.
MATERIAL (ALUMINIUM): A713 Tenzaloy aluminium alloy, aged to T-6 condition.
