Carr Lane's new plate lifting hoist ring system has a load capacity of 10,000 lbs. The totally removable shackle assembly allows the plate surface to remain totally free of obstructions. The hoist ring's flat base is permanently installed by cutting a hole in the plate and welding in place, flush with the surface. The forged alloy-steel shackle pivots a full 180 degrees, but does not rotate, and is made to be installed so that the lifting force is applied in the pivoting direction. Patent pending.
