FEATURES: Double Clamping Arms are used to clamp two workpieces at the same time. These arms allow operating pressures up to 7500 psi, except for Series 1 (Mini) Swing Clamps, which are limited to 5000 psi. Double arm pivots on a steel carrier to apply equal force to both workpieces. Two adjustable contact bolts furnished.

MOUNTING: Remove carrier from arm. Mount carrier on the tapered piston rod at desired orientation, then fasten with the piston-rod nut included with Swing Clamp (series 1 clamps use a socket-head cap screw and washer instead, ordered separately). Reassemble arm on the carrier.
MATERIAL (1 SERIES): Arm > Steel, black oxide finish. Contact bolts > Steel, grade 8, black oxide finish.
MATERIAL (2, 3, 5, 6, 7 SERIES): Arm > Nodular iron. Carrier > 1045 steel. Threaded bolt and spring elements > Steel. Contact bolts > Steel, grade 8, black oxide finish. |
