Construction balls are precision tooling balls used as a reference point for critical inspection, layout, and machining operations. Shoulder type construction balls feature a precision-height reference shoulder designed to located the ball in three dimensions. The adjustable version of these tooling balls has no shoulder, so it can be set to any desired height before being locked with a set screw. Carr Lane also offers Construction Ball pads, which are used for mounting of construction balls. Carr Lane construction balls are available in a variety of ball diameters and pads are designed to fit all construction balls in a single size. Carr Lane tooling balls are proudly made in the USA.
