Human Resources Generalist - St. Louis

Carr Lane Manufacturing has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to work at a nationally recognized manufacturer located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities of the Job:

• Full cycle recruiting including effective use of ATS (applicant tracking systems) and social media platforms, attending job fairs, and identifying candidates and candidate pipelines
• Conduct new hire onboarding
• Work collaboratively with executives to gain buy-in and implement new processes and procedures.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple worksites (St. Louis, MO and Austin, TX)
• Assist managers and supervisors with evaluating, coaching, and corrective actions as needed
• Maintain employment files
• Ensure legal compliance to all applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Coordinate workers' compensation, OSHA compliance reporting, EEO-1 reporting and unemployment claims
• Lead benefits administration
• Assists with compensation planning
• Assist with policy development, performance management and employee relations including the development of recognition and engagement programs
• Other HR duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience
• Must not require H1-B visa sponsorship
• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related area, or equivalent years of work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills desired.
• Must be able to work 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday. Additional schedule flexibility required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to analyze root causes and strategize innovative solutions for a diverse workplace
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Lao/Isan)
