FEATURES: Extremely compact valve arrangement for single-acting clamps. Use individual 3-way clamping valves to clamp several workpieces independently with a single power source. These high-quality valves have a zero-leakage poppet design, with a built-in check valve. Also available with a pressure switch for each clamping circuit, all in one compact assembly.
MODELS AVAILABLE: Manifold assemblies are available with 1 to 8 clamping valves. Each manifold assembly requires the following components, which must be ordered separately — see Dimensions page for part numbers:

(1) Bolt set
Series blocks are available in three types: standard, short, and standard with pressure-switch port. Bolt set includes two bolts long enough to fasten all series blocks to the input block.
OPERATION: The hand-operated valves shown here are each controlled by a hand knob that can be turned 360º in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, with a detent position every 90º. To clamp or unclamp, turn knob 90º in either direction. Also available with other valve types, including air-pilot operated, hydraulic-pilot operated, and solenoid operated.
OPTIONAL PRESSURE-SWITCH VERSION: Pressure Switches are safety devices that signal the presence or absence of a desired hydraulic pressure by closing or opening an electrical microswitch. Can be wired to a machine-tool controller to ensure proper clamping pressure before machining starts, and/or to shut off the machine if pressure drops below a differential percentage during the machining cycle. Pressure Switch is also available with gold contacts for low-current capabilities, better for some programmable controllers, but with a shorter service life (CLR-010-PS)
MOUNTING: Fasten manifold using the tapped mounting holes underneath the series blocks. Mount in any position, horizontal or vertical.
FLUID CONNECTION: Clamping-Valve Manifolds have the following ports:
P = Pressure into manifold from power source
R = Return from manifold to power source
A = Flow from valve to clamps (one per valve)
Port connections and flow directions must be exactly as shown on the drawings; otherwise the valves will not function correctly. Use only with clean, approved hydraulic fluid (CLR-2-FL or equivalent). Fluid must be kept clean (10 micron or better nominal filtration). Do not use NPT fittings.
