This system size is designed for holding large parts on larger machining centers. Each multipurpose hole on a Heavy System MF50 tooling plate or block has a 5/8" ID bushing on top with a 5/8-11 threaded insert below it. Multipurpose holes are located in a precise 2.0000" grid pattern, spaced within ±.0008 inches of true position. Locating Screws, with a precision ground shoulder, are used to locate and fasten at the same time. A typical 5/8-11 Clamp Strap exerts 3700 lbs clamping force.
