KOSMEK Hydraulic Doubel-Acting Swing Clamps featurea high-speed rotation mechanism, designed for fixture applications requiring swing-in clamping with repeatable positioning. The outer race rotates in accordance with the steel ball movement, minimizing resistance during the swing action for faster cycle times and longer service life. An enlarged rod diameter with larger steel balls and a lead groove further reduces torque and increases endurance.

A long guide ratio supports the rod between the flange and the rod edge, allowing the use of longer clamping levers for greater reach. A standard taper sleeve accessory is incorporated into the lever sleeve, eliminating the need for tapering during clamp lever manufacture and simplifying lever design. A quick-change lever is available as an option, allowing attachment and removal with a single wrench. An exclusive dust seal protects against high-pressure coolant ingress and provides excellent chemical resistance to chlorine-based coolants.

Hydraulic Double-Acting Swing Clamps are available in Left and Right swing directions, with 0-degree (straight) swing also available. Maximum input pressure is 70 Bar (1,000 PSI). Clamping forces stocked at Carr Lane Mfg. are 2.48 kN, 3.5 kN, 4.87 kN, 7.21 kN, 9.35 kN, and 14.21 kN, with additional sizes available. Made in Japan.
