Spring Accumulators are hydraulic pressure stabilizers designed to absorb pressure fluctuations in closed fixture circuits disconnected from a pressure source. When a hydraulic fixture is isolated from its pressure source by a non-leak valve or similar component, temperature changes in the hydraulic fluid cause volume variations that result in pressure increases and decreases. The accumulator mitigates these fluctuations by using an internal spring-loaded piston that compresses to absorb pressure increases caused by rising oil temperature and extends to compensate for pressure decreases as temperature drops. This action prevents damage and deformation of machines and workpieces from abnormal high pressure and avoids workpiece detachment or poor machining quality from low pressure conditions.

Maintenance-free sealed design requiring no periodic service. Discharge fluid capacity ranges from 0.5 to 5.0 cm³, with absorbing fluid capacity from 0.1 to 2.0 cm³ depending on model selection. Operating pressure options up to 60 Bar are available in compact and standard body styles.
