KOSMEK Concentric Vises are hydraulic double-action workholding vises designed for high-force gripping of cylindrical workpieces, with both jaws moving simultaneously from a single hydraulic actuation. The slide block mechanism converts vertical piston motion into equal, opposing lateral movement of the two sliders, centering the workpiece on the jaw axis regardless of diameter variation. Locating repeatability in the X-axis direction is ±0.01 mm, making these vises well suited for high-accuracy machining and automated workpiece transfer applications.

Three size configurations are available: FVD1600, FVD2500, and FVD5000, operating at a maximum pressure of 70 bar. Maximum clamping forces are 33.72 kN, 52.16 kN, and 83.81 kN respectively. Slider stroke per side is 6 mm for the FVD1600 and 8 mm for the FVD2500 and FVD5000. Speed control valves (Model BZL) and air bleed valves (Model BZX) are available as accessories, along with G thread plugs with air bleeding function and direct-mount sequence valves. Made in Japan.
