Mini System MF25 (5/16")

This system size is designed for dense loading of small parts in smaller vertical and horizontal machining centers. Each multipurpose hole on a Mini System MF25 tooling plate or block has a 1/2" ID bushing on top with a 5/16-18 threaded insert below it. Multipurpose holes are located in a precise 1.0000" grid pattern, spaced within ±.0004 inches of true position. Instead of the Locating Screws used to locate and fasten on Standard and Heavy systems, Mini System MF25 uses a 1/2" OD Locating Bushing together with a 5/16-18 socket-head cap screw to provide high strength despite smaller component size. A typical 5/16-18 Clamp Strap exerts 900 lbs clamping force.

Technical Information

Every multipurpose hole on a tooling plate or block has a precision alignment bushing on top, with a threaded insert below it. Mini System MF25 utilizes a precision 1/2" ID bushing together with a 5/16-18 threaded insert. Multipurpose holes will accept Locating Screws, socket-head cap screws, studs, and many other threaded components. The proper mounting screw for each component is listed in its table of dimensions.

Instead of the Locating Screws used to locate and fasten at the same time on Standard and Heavy Systems, Mini System MF25 uses a Locating Bushing together with a socket-head cap screw to provide high strength despite smaller component size.

Mini System MF25 has multipurpose holes in a precise 1.0000" grid pattern, spaced within ±.0004 inches of 1 position.
