KOSMEK Compact Concentric Vises are hydraulic double-action workholding vises designed to center and grip workpieces symmetrically, with both jaws moving simultaneously from a single hydraulic actuation. The slide block mechanism converts vertical piston motion into equal, opposing lateral movement of the two sliders, positioning the workpiece on the centerline regardless of diameter variation. Locating repeatability in the X-axis direction is ±0.01 mm, making these vises well suited for high-accuracy machining and automated transfer applications involving cylindrical workpieces.

Three model series are available. Model FVA is a compact slide-block design with 5 mm stroke per side and clamping forces from 4.86 to 13.13 kN at 70 bar maximum operating pressure. Models FVA includes an air blow function; dust covers are standard across all models to protect internal components from contamination. The jaw mounting surface requires only a key slot and bolt hole — no serration machining. A grease nipple is provided for lubrication of internal parts. Speed control valves and air bleed valves are available as accessories for FVA models. Made in Japan
