What is this?

Product Information

These extension supports have a multipurpose hole instead of a plain tapped hole. This allows attaching any fixed-position locator that mounts with a Locating Screw, enabling that locator to be used between grid points. Top and bottom surfaces are precision ground for accurate height location. The Standard MF40 size is shown here.

Application Information

Multipurpose Hole (Standard)

This component's multipurpose hole has a 1/2" ID bushing on top with a 1/2-13 thread below it. Locating Screws, with a precision ground shoulder, are used to locate and fasten at the same time.

Mounting

Fasten with a Socket-Head Cap Screw (order separately below).

Material

Body > 1018 steel, carburized-hardened, black oxide finish. Bushing > High-carbon steel, heat treated.
